Sustainability
Like no other
Less talk, more action.
Sustainability is at the heart of our identity.
From day one, we have been dedicated to ethical practices and mastering the entire value chain, ensuring traceability from seed to garment.
Mastery
in traceability
The quality, durability, and recyclability of a garment begin with fibre selection, which plays a key role in its environmental impact. All our knitwear is crafted from 100% organic cotton and recycled polyester.
We go beyond certifications by ensuring full traceability across our entire value chain, from seed selection to the finished garment. This enables us to confidently verify that every material is responsibly handled at each stage, while building strong, collaborative relationships with all our partners.
Learn more about our actions Caring about our values
is sharing our values
We are committed to creating meaningful change by fostering close relationships with carefully selected partners across the value chain, including farmers, ginners, and factories.
By limiting the number of suppliers and working collaboratively, we build trust, uphold high standards, and ensure that our commitments to quality, people, and the planet are met.
Our approach prioritises action over words. We partner exclusively with those who share our values of respect for people and the environment, redefining what it means to work together across the entire value chain for the benefit of all.
Discover more about production100% sustainable garments
Our entire collection is fully sustainable, made from 100% organic cotton and recycled polyester and cotton, all certified by GOTS and GRS. Our recycled polyester is sourced from post-consumer PET bottles, giving waste a second life.
Waste unwasted
We recycle cotton fabric cutting waste by shredding it into yarn and blending it 50/50 with new virgin organic fibre to create high-quality fabric. In 2024 alone, we recycled 226 tonnes of cotton. For outerwear, we exclusively use recycled polyester, turning plastic waste into a valuable resource. Waste isn't wasted—it's transformed.

Reducing our
carbon footprint
Stanley/Stella has long been at the forefront of sustainability, working to minimize our carbon footprint.
In 2024, we launched an industry-wide decarbonization plan, a major initiative that unites the entire Stanley/Stella ecosystem around a common goal, to reduce our carbon emissions by 30% by 2030 across our entire value chain.
Through close partnerships with factories, ginners, and farmers, we're setting a new standard of collaboration to drive meaningful change. Our mission remains to inspire positive change and lead the textile industry toward a more sustainable future.
