How sourcing organic cotton defines our quality

Every product starts with a decision. Ours is clear: select the best cotton in the world, source it responsibly, and create a premium product that lasts.

We work exclusively with 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton (certified by Control Union CU 1393082) — ethically grown, fully traceable, and carefully selected. It’s a material that reflects our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and uncompromising quality.

Certified at every step

We’re proud to be one of the top five buyers of organic cotton globally. But this isn’t about scale, it’s about sourcing with purpose.

Our cotton is grown from non-GMO seeds, without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. That means healthier soil, protected ecosystems, and better outcomes for farming communities.

Once harvested, it’s processed under strict environmental and social criteria, earning GOTS and OEKO-TEX® certifications (certified by Control Union CU 1393082) across our entire collection. These certifications give our partners and customers confidence in what they’re getting — trusted quality with no compromise.

Our hands-on sourcing approach

We manage our sourcing in-house, with specialists on the ground in key regions. They work directly with certified farmers and ginners, ensuring complete transparency and long-term value for everyone involved.

To stay resilient, we’ve expanded our sourcing over time. We began in India in 2012, added Turkey in 2021, and most recently Tanzania in 2023.

This multi-country strategy strengthens our supply chain, supports diverse farming communities, and helps us adapt to evolving climate challenges — without ever losing sight of quality.

100% organic, even in our heathers

Our heather range is also made with 100% organic cotton something that sets us apart in an industry where blends often rely on conventional fibers.

We go further, selecting fibers based on length and strength. Longer fibers create stronger, smoother yarns.

The result? Durable fabrics with a premium handfeel and a surface that delivers rich, lasting decoration. This means better results for customisation and greater comfort and durability for everyday wear.

A material with meaning

Behind every cotton fiber we select lies a heritage we commit to uphold. From the first seed to the final stitch, each fiber is traced back to the people who cultivated it, the land it grew on, and the process it underwent. Step by step, from field to fabric. In every bale, there’s a choice to source not just material, but meaning.
Anil Konan, Senior Organic Cotton Sourcing Specialist, Turkey

We see organic cotton not just as a material, but as a reflection of the choices we make and the future we want to help shape.

True motivation comes from harmony in our choices. Each thread of organic cotton reminds us that by nurturing the earth, we weave a future where the textile production respects both nature and humanity.

From the field to the final stitch, traceability is built into every step. We work only with certified partnersspinners, knitters, dyers, and garment makerswho share our high standards and long-term vision.
