A season in colours
Colour is our craft. For SS26, the palette balances timeless consistency with fresh energy. Refined new shades bring subtle impact and versatile style, while Faded Olive sets the tone with muted, earthy depth.
The art of fade
Garment dyeing adds character. Each piece is pre-washed for softness and finished to create rich tones with a lived-in feel. Subtle variations make every garment unique, while maintaining cohesion across the collection.
Tried. Tested. Trusted.

Q&A – Recycled Cotton & TENCEL™ Modal
Recycled cotton is made by collecting and reprocessing cotton fibers that would otherwise go to waste.
Instead of producing new cotton, we give existing fibers a second life, reducing textile waste, saving resources, and lowering our overall carbon footprint.
At Stanley/Stella, our recycled cotton styles use pre-consumer waste, such as yarn and cutting leftovers from the manufacturing process, which are easier to trace and control for consistent quality.
Cotton offcuts and yarn waste are sorted, shredded, and broken down into fibers. These fibers are then spun again, often blended with virgin organic cotton to ensure strength and softness.
We use two types of pre-consumer waste:
- Cutting waste – shorter, already dyed fibers reused to make new yarn.
- Hard waste – longer, undyed fibers turned into a smoother and stronger yarn.
Recycled cotton reduces the amount of waste produced in textile manufacturing, which saves water and energy compared to virgin cotton.
- No dyeing required for color-sorted fabrics.
- Lower carbon emissions than organic cotton.
- Circularity and innovation — transforming factory waste into high-quality, traceable garments.
TENCEL™ Modal is a soft, breathable fiber that is made from beech wood and sourced from responsibly managed forests in Europe. It's produced by Lenzing, using a highly resource-efficient process with low energy and water consumption.
We chose TENCEL™ Modal because it combines premium comfort and sustainability, offering a naturally smooth touch, excellent color fastness, and durability.
At Stanley/Stella, we're introducing TENCEL™ Modal as a natural evolution in our journey towards using lower-impact materials. Our new blend of organic cotton and TENCEL™ Modal is an improvement to our previous organic cotton and recycled polyester mix, offering:
- Less petroleum-based material in our products.
- Lower environmental impact thanks to renewable and biodegradable sources.
- Premium comfort and durability, with the same soft touch and excellent decoration performance.
This new blend marks a step forward in our journey toward circularity, high-quality blanks, where every fiber is chosen to minimize impact without compromising feel, longevity, or creative possibilities.
Both recycled cotton and TENCEL™ Modal deliver excellent performance for decoration:
- Smooth, consistent surfaces for sharp prints and vibrant colors.
- No migration or color bleeding.
- High wash resistance and long-lasting comfort.
These innovations prove that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand.
All TENCEL™ Modal supplied to Stanley/Stella's designated suppliers must be made exclusively from fibres manufactured by Lenzing AG in Austria. This ensures the fibres originate within the EU and comply with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), guaranteeing that no deforestation is involved in their production.
