Transparency in action: 43 styles now backed by Lifecycle Assessments

We are taking a major step in measuring and sharing the impact of our garments. Today, 43 of our core styles come with third-party verified Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data. This gives our partners, customers, and stakeholders clear insight into product-level footprints.

This is the second phase of our LCA journey. We first launched with ten styles in March 2025 as part of the Iconics 2.0 collection. We now provide verified LCA data for styles across all major categories (around 30% of all styles).

Why Life Cycle Assessment for apparel?

A LCA evaluates a product’s full footprint, from raw materials to end-of-life. It goes beyond fabric choice or certification to include production, decoration, daily washing, and disposal.

We work with GreenStory, independent experts in apparel LCA, using methodologies aligned with international standards, such as:

  • Environmental Footprint (EF)
  • Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)
  • ISO 14040 and ISO 14044

Our product sheets also go beyond the typical cradle-to-gate view, offering cradle-to-grave data for a complete picture of impact.

Today, our assessments are fully compliant with the EU’s finalized Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules (PEFCR) for Apparel & Footwear. By 2028, we expect that this full compliance will be mandatory, but we don’t intend to wait. We’re acting now so we can lead the way — not only react to regulations.

Expanding our assessment

  • Phase 1 (March 2025): 10 styles from the Iconics 2.0 collection
  • Phase 2 (September 2025): 33 additional styles, updated data for the first 10, and expanded category assessment
  • Phase 3: Full roll-out across t-shirts, sweatshirts, polos, and pants

With each phase, we’re providing partners with more accurate data and transparency.

What partners gain from verified LCA data

Every product sheet now includes verified data points on:

  • Carbon footprint (e.g. equivalent kilometres driven by car)
  • Water consumption (e.g. equivalent daily water needs of people)

This allows our partners to:

  • Build sustainability storytelling on facts
  • Strengthen bids and tenders with verified data
  • Share greater transparency with customers

All updated sheets and visuals are available on our product pages and dedicated LCA hub.

Why does it matter?

True progress is measured, not claimed. By embedding LCA across our core ranges, we are setting a benchmark for transparency and accountability. Verified data allows us — and our partners — to move forward with clarity and confidence.
